Recently i had visited Ikon Gallery in the Brindley place,Birmingham. These pieces of work were from an artist called Carmen Herrera who was born in Havana,Cuba in 1915.I like her work particularly for its formal simplicity with less colors. She normally used two colors and focused on pure geometry, such as line, color, and space. The way she used the simple colors worked well as they are painted in perfect composition and layout.I like the bright colors as they can grab your attention from a distance in the art gallery.Especially they stand out from the white wall of the gallery.
My name is Angesom Tekle Tesfasellassie.Am living in Birmingham,England.Currently am doing HND in Graphic Design in MBC(mathew boulton college) where i have got a lot of knowledge about my subject(GD).I am passionate to become a good graphic designer.I love to see when my ideas are developed through different times(from research to skeching to development of ideas to the final pieces of work).I love skeching at different places and develop them into something else.I love going out to different places because i believe that i can get a lot of inspiration.Almost most of my work in this blog are developed based on inspiration from things i have seen around me.
