This is an experiment with colors.The initial idea was to create Christmas card.However eventually it ends up as a wall art( based on abstractive image).

City name

Asmara is the capital city of Eritrea.The typography in the art work is pronounced as 'Asmara' in Tigrinya language.Asmara which literally means "the four united" is the common language that is used to communicate among the Eritrean people.

Back home

The first image below is 'Beles',local word for wild cactus fruits, a common source of income for many underpriviledged families in the poor Horn of Africa country.





The following image is symbol for the way we pronounce number 1 in Eritrean language(my mother tongue).It is the first number that opens a door to count the rest of the numbers (1,2,3...which is hhade,Klte,Seleste...)
